Free “Dream It Be It” Saturday Workshop Aims to Empower Girls (HAGÅTÑA) – The Soroptimist International of Guam is excited to host a free, one-day workshop designed to inspire young girls ages 14 to 18 to dream big and aim high. The event will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Leo Palace Resort in Yona. The “Dream It Be It” (DIBI) workshop will feature seven accomplished women who have reached success in their careers. Among the speakers are a respected judge, a university president, and successful entrepreneurs. Their stories of perseverance and success will encourage and motivate our young island girls to pursue their dreams with confidence and determination. “This is one of our club’s signature events that support our young girls with mentorship and career development, empowering them with choices when they grow up,” said Melany Balauro, SI Guam DIBI Chairperson. In addition to the inspiring talks, the event will offer lunch, refreshments and a fun round of bowling. The event is free of charge, but written parental consent is required for all attendees.
